Social sites hit by flood of spam

Facebook users are being hit by a concerted wave of spam
attacks, prompting renewed warnings for people to keep their anti-virus
software updated.

Reports suggest that the social media network has
been the target of up to five attacks from malicious sources in the space of 24 hours.
